Deliquent Dogz
Well its been a while since we competed but managed to squeeze in DD before Xmas, Bella's still running with the same enthusiasm as before I felt she was better queuing altho we still need to have plenty of space and a toy to focus on. We managed to have 2 runs at both agility and jumping today, our first agility run Bella blasted and knocked 4 poles down I need to try and work on her so that knocking one doesn't mean them all. The next run we had 5 faults on dog walk contacts we know this is a problem area but due to the weather it makes it difficult training them. Then next was the jumping round where she truly flew managing a 3rd place in a stonking 20.31 sec I think thats the fastest run shes ever completed and she loved it. I tried something different in the 2nd run and messed it up but took onboard some of the tips from the judge which seemed to help as the first run she turned back at me out of the tunnel so I gave commands while she was still in which worked so she has room to be quicker :D We then went to play some games in the warehouse which we both found a little stressful being in such close proximity to other dogs despite a couple of scufflys she did well but we left before the end as the excitement just got a little too much for us both. All in all a very enjoyable day out and considering the distance between shows Im really pleased with how Bella performed. Roll on the new year and our first KC and inside show should be fun!!
