Well what a start to the weekend I almost turned back lol the rain was just awful the roads had so much standing water you could hardly see. But I made myself carry on and it wasn't too bad when we arrived got the tent all laid out nicely and the rain started lol With a helping hand managed to get it up just as the thunder storm arrived so had to hide in the car until it passed with Bella trying to keep me calm bless her lol Very eventful evening!!
We started off Saturday with pairs with Pen both dogs where E'd but had a great time doing it lol Next was Jumping graded 1-3 nice flowing course we just clipped a pole but she still came 3rd. Then we had graded 1-3 agility the course was perfect for us a few pull offs and plenty of work we took it steady and she did a lovely clear getting 2nd place. We finished the day off with a combined 1-2 agility lovely course with lots of kit in see saw, wall, max spread, A-frame, max long jump, dog walk and tyre. Our first time doing a wall in competition but Bella didn't even both she was just flying round it was a brilliant run I was pushing really hard and fast and she was loving it just managing to stay on the dog walk, sadly I just couldn't get down the end line and she went under the tyre lol We came 5th but I didn't care as it was just so an ace run I loved every minute she really can fly when she wants :D
Sunday I was really nervous doing the 1-7 ABC no idea why just feel a bit like we shouldn't be there lol but Bella reminded me should be it was a great course we just missed the DW contact as I was too far back and knocked a pole but I know she can do them so just need to forget everything else as it doesn't matter. Its also given me more confidence that shes going to enjoy the 3-5 courses as she does love those twists and turns. Then the rains came along with 2 runs 10F in each as I just am too scared to run fast encase I fall, Bella on the other hand thinks rain is good as she can go quicker lol I was going to go home as was cold wet and grumpy but was persuaded to stay and our last class was in the ring shortly so change of clothes and cuppa to warm me up. Nice simple flowing jumping course to finish the weekend and she came away with 3rd we weren't fast as I still didn't want to run hence her barking lol But steady clears are our new game plan to sneak into those placings at grade 3 ;D
Also very please to get enough points to get out agility warrant bronze considering we started the year with just 19 points I'm amazed shes got enough already just shows what a good season shes having long may it continue :D
Also got to meet the lovely Clover who is just yummy :D and well done to Jules & Jette who got a 2nd in jumping shes trying to hide in grade 2 but it just wont work you know ;)
