Agility Nuts 9th Oct

Our first time at the winter agility nuts and we are in novice plus scary!!! The show was lovely very friendly and relaxed with plenty of space to and from the rings just how we like it :D We started off in Power and Speed with and E for pinging off the A-Frame how rude we normally get this one lol It also tested out the very sandy surface great for Bella as she flew bad for me as can't keep up hahaha Next we had Agility and another E, tunnel under the A-Frame which needed investigating twice lol Then we had Up and Under a fab run but silly me didn't cross where I should of causing her to knock a pole we came unplaced 7th but would have been 3rd if clear how annoying silly me!!! We finished off the day with a very trappy jumping course she ran really well but just one tunnel trap too many tempting her the wrong way. Very pleased as she was last at a show a month ago and new places sometime blag her head a bit but she was pretty calm and focused.
We also took along the Honey monster she was very good quiet in the car, she had a little run in the field with Bella and without just to get her used to being on her own. We also watched a few runs inside and she got to meet some other puppies and think horse poo taste just yummy!!! The best bit was she was almost quiet all the way there and back in the car hurray fingers crossed a few more outings and she will be happier.
We are at Hare N Hounds at the end of Oct no Honey as we are staying over night in a travel inn, looking forward to it just hope the weather stays good!!

Gosh its been 3 weeks already!!!

Well the little Honey Monster has been here for 3 weeks and what a little angel she is :D She settled into my work routine nicely relaxing in the crate when I go out, we have started a it of clicker training she can sit, lay down, give paw, stand and target a lid. Bella loves her little sister they play most of the time shes awake they are starting to sleep next to each other too :D We did have a little nip to Honey as she tried to use Bellas face as a ragger oppsie but I think they need to learn where the line is and most of the time dogs are pretty good. We have been carrying on the socialisation shes been into my work twice and we came home on the bus, has gone to training to meet and greet the other dogs (where she also took herself through a tunnel while we where setting up the kit, cheeky puppy!!) we have been to see the kids at school, to Hull Fair as they where setting up, back to the vets, visiting loads of family shes defiantly coming out of her shell more in new environments we just need to keep working on loud noises. Zak is tolerating Honey at the moment he never liked pups and doesn't understand why she wants to lick him and cuddle up so goes upstairs to hide from her lol My house is a complete tip as I can't help but want to play with her when shes awake lol Especially when she gives you this look!!!

Honeys first week home

And what a weeks it has been I really don't want to go back to work as we have had such fun, its been 7 years since we've had a pup in the house and you forget how fab it is watching them learn and their confidence build over time. We went to the vets on Mon for first set of vacinations and where told she could go out and about visiting meeting new dogs just to not street walk her yet. Ive tried to get the crate routine sorted first so next week she will be ok when Im back at work she settles within a couple of mins which is great. Ive taken her out to a new place everyday to start off the socialisation visiting family members so she gets used to car journeys (shes a tad melodramtic in the crate in the car howling and sliding down the bars which several drives behind have chuckled about!!) shes starting to realise she need to settle Im sure a few more days and she'll be fine. House training is going super Ive never had a pup pick it up as fast only the odd little accident Im not sure if its because this time I understand more about positive reinforment training as Im sure with Bella we told her off but with Honey I just ignore the accidents and praise like crazy the good ones :D We started a bit of clicker training yesterday shaping for a sit and she seems to have remember this morning and keeps offering a sit its really sweet I do love clicker training I can't wait to keep trying new things with her Bella didn't start until she was 4 so its lovely having a blank canvas wanting to learn. We also can bring back toys (which I didn't teach she just did it lol) and she knows her name and comes when I whistle. Zak and Bella are starting to accept her we did have a little spat yesterday between them both as a cat rudely walked past the fence Zak growled Bella took it to be at her and all hell broke loose with Honey running off screaming as I shouted to part them both. Zak ended up with a couple of nicks to his lip but nothing too serious thank god was noise more than anything first time Ive seen him not back down to Bella too, both of them looked a little suprised by the whole thing and Bella was quickly going to him licking all submissively lol and Honey was back scampering about. Bella has accepted Honey fab better than I ever expected she we've only have one time where Bella rolled her over and Honey ran off screaming but was fine just scared after that they are starting to play nicely. Honey was really biting Bellas nose yesterday and she just took it quite happy with her new little play pal she even plays tug gently too I couldn't be more please as Bella was looking so sad after the loss of Henry I think she really did need her to come along. I also think Bella likes the fact the Honey has all these cool toys to play with lol They are both going to Agility Nuts in a couple of weeks time so will see how they get on in a new place together too.
Heres a couple of pics (I need to take more but she wont stand still for more than 5 seconds!!!)
