I was really looking forward to the weekend (except for the 4.00am start lol) luckily for me Sal drove us down which help me stay lots calmer I think.
Saturday morning began with starters jumping Bell was a tiny bit excited lol the first run we knocked a pole as I turn a tad too quick and she then got a refusal as saw a lady who she thought was Sal lol but the course felt good with some nice working sections it suited how we run so second time I slowed and we went clear in a storming 24.078 getting us 3rd place and a trophy bless :D Next we had starters agility a bit to straight up and down for us first run missed a contact (not sure which) second run I made her wait but she knocked a pole after coming off each in eagerness to get on lol We where just outside the placings in 6th with 5f which is still really good :) Last run of the day was Helter Skelter combined Starter, Novice and Senior we went clear in 21st place out of 93 the second highest placed starter dog what a speedy girl :D
Sunday morning began with 1-2 combined agility walking the course it felt good nice bit of work involved and perfected places for me to front cross. First run we flew and where clear in 31.29 gaining us a 5th place I was so pleased as getting agility clears is our biggest challenge so to do it on the first run and first run of the day was a massive bonus. Second run we tried to do the same but missed a contact (think I was pushing her a bit hard) but she was absolutely flying barking all the way having such a great time hihihi Next we had jumping another good course with some fiddly bits just how we like them first run I tried a front cross but there just wasn't enough time so she knocked a pole and I rushed the end so we got a refusal as she pulled through the gap. Second run was going great we got right to the end and I knew we where going to do it got excited a bit too early but Bell hadn't finished so I distracted her and she knocked the last pole I was gutted for her to say the least lol But she didn't care bless her what she has to put up with lol We decided not to stay for the steeplechase as the weather was horrid and with a three hour drive home for Sal thought it was best to head back.
We had a really great weekend and we seem fingers crossed to becoming more and more consistent lets home it keeps getting going :D
